Continually Advancing Hemodialysis

Drawing on a 50-year heritage of transformative innovation in hemodialysis (HD),1 Vantive is continuing to advance HD in groundbreaking and meaningful ways.

Helping to simplify and improve the quality of hemodialysis treatments

Vantive is committed to providing innovative hemodialysis products and services that help healthcare professionals improve the quality of treatments and simplify therapy delivery for the diverse and growing population of patients with chronic kidney disease. Vantive's state-of-the-art AK 98 Dialysis Machine, for example, represents the continual evolution of HD therapy that started with the development of the first computerized "artificial kidney" dialysis machine, the AK 10, in 1977.1

A dialyzer for every patient

Because every patient deserves the right therapy

We consider every HD patient an individual. We do not believe in delivering the same standardized therapy to all patients, but instead provide choices to select the therapy and treatment modality that is right for both patients and providers.

Accordingly, we offer a variety of dialyzers to support high-flux therapies, a pediatric dialyzer to support lower-body-weight patients, and a new category of dialyzer with Vantive’s unique  MCO membrane technology, which enables expanded hemodialysis, or HDx therapy. The new dialyzer brings HD a step closer to natural kidney function.3

In addition, we provide numerous  products and services to support diverse care scenarios, including at-home, self-care, acute-dialysis and in-center settings. This allows clinicians to choose the right solution for each patient and deliver clinical excellence.
