The Sharesource Connectivity Platform gives clinicians the ability to remotely view and manage treatment data. The platform also provides notifications of potential issues, remote adjustment of device settings and prescriptions, and visibility into adherence patterns, which may enable earlier intervention1 and allow clinicians to spend a greater proportion of time on proactive patient care.6

Sharesource Adequest

Integrated with the Sharesource Connectivity Platform, Sharesource Adequest is a kinetic modeling application for automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) and continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). Sharesource Adequest allows clinicians to identify peritoneal membrane characteristics, calculate, report and predict key PD adequacy measures, and create APD/CAPD prescriptions that best suit therapeutic and patient lifestyle goals.9

Enhanced ICU care through TrueVue digital solutions

The ICU is a complicated clinical care environment, and efficient data management is essential for optimal treatment delivery. Our TrueVue digital solutions help bring greater efficiency and proactive management to CRRT programs.10 TrueVue technologies were specifically developed to support effective therapy delivery in the ICU by enabling wireless EMR connectivity and the creation of patient profiles, which streamlines therapy administration. Hospitals can also use TrueVue Therapy Management to analyze CRRT data trends and develop quality improvement programs to deliver on efficiency goals.

Continued digital advancements

We are continuing to build on our proven digital connectivity innovations to help enable efficiencies for dialysis providers and make dialysis therapy easier to manage for both patients and clinicians. Planned enhancements to Sharesource Connectivity Platform, our home patient management solution for PD, are aimed at increasing proactive patient and clinician engagement, improving clinician workflows and empowering patients to stay on their chosen therapy. 

In addition to EMR connectivity and Data Analytics available today with our hemodialysis (HD) machines, we are developing a suite of digital capabilities to support improved HD clinical workflow efficiencies. And in the acute setting, we are exploring partnerships to develop meaningful tools for optimizing workflow in the ICU.

INTENDED USE

The Sharesource Connectivity Platform portal is intended for use by healthcare professionals to remotely communicate new or modified treatment parameters with compatible dialysis instruments and transfer completed treatment data to a central database to aid in the review, analysis, and evaluation of patients’ historical treatment results. This system is not intended to be a substitute for good clinical management practices, nor does its operation create decisions or treatment pathways.

Sharesource Adequest is intended to calculate solute clearances and net fluid removal for individual patients, based on therapy parameters provided by the clinician. Additionally, it is intended to assist the clinician in calculating patient peritoneal membrane transport characteristics and peritoneal dialysis adequacy from data that is inputted into the system by the clinician. The resulting information is used by clinicians in their selection of treatment regimens for individual patients. The calculations can be used for both Continuous Ambulatory PD (CAPD) and Automated PD (APD) patients, and are based on publicly-available information. It is not intended to be a substitute for good clinical management practices, nor does its operation create decisions or treatment pathways. Access the Adequest website to: update your user account information, search for other users at your dialysis center, add Sharesource patients to Adequest, view and enter patient information, 24 hour treatment data and results, PET data and results and generate PD Regimens, Generate reports.
